Is the update available for the Intune yet?

Post by john74 »

Hi everyone,

It appears there is a issue with the octane tunes and various tunes missing from my Intune tuner. I spoke with sales and technical support and they are aware of this and should be getting an update out sometime this week. Is anyone else having this issue? I am installing the tune on a 2004 Dodge Ram 5.7 hemi and it just gives me a option install stock modify tune. So i am missing all of the octane tunes etc..

It has that so you can take a backup and post it. Your Cal needs to be added to the inTune.

*****UPDATE***** Good morning all. For those of you having issues with the tunes not being installed on your Intune i spoke to Val from technical support this morning and they are completely aware of the problem some of us are having. He assured me there will be an update soon to fix this.

And there will be....

It seems some folks are convinced we are in business just to sell the tool and thats it. We actually care about the product and will and are doing all we can to get these issues behind us.

the fact is the device is very complex and brand new. NO matter how much beta testing we did we can/could not find all the bugs without releasing the product.

Think about it when apple released the iphone4 It was a cool device that wouldnt do the primary function (keep a phone call) or whatever just the point is all things new have the ability to have bugs. we fall under that category as well. the difference between us an apple is that affects peoples day to day (since everyone is glued to there phones now) but our product makes people frustrated but still does not stop them from doing there day to day opperations.

Not only that, most of the bugs we seem to be having are in relation to dodge Chrysler jeep vehicles which is by far our most sold platform. So that being said we will fix the issues AND WE STAND BEHIND our product 100 percent. So please Bare with us.

A little more. The biggest Misconception is that Diablo is such a Big company. the things is we are not. our staff consists of about 30 people and about half of the 30 are on vacation for the holidays. This is why the normal turn around time for repairs has hit a longer delay., once the new year is here we will be going over everything to get you folks up and running.

Thanks

Jon

Anyway you guys can unlock the touch calibration and uninstall updates? Kind sucks needing a password to do those. Say a update gets botched we can uninstall and reupdate, and touch screen should be unlocked so those with bigger or smaller fingers can calibrate screen to themselves. Also where is the 1gb storage I only show 12mb on one of the drives and 100mb on the other? I've hooked up to my pc to see all drive partitioning and only show thoses, my software would pickup even non windows partitions like linux based etc :?:

Hi Jon,
i understand that there would be certain bugs in the new unit but this unit is bricked meaning i am unable to use it at all. So i spent $400 dollars about as much as a iPhone. I was told on Dec 23 that there would be an update available in about a week and would be sent via email or something. I need to know if my 2004 Dodge Ram is compatible with this unit asap if this update cannot be in place soon can i exchange this unit for the trinity or something that works?
I gave sales my calid & Vin number already on Tuesday.

Is do anything to get rolling too granted holidays but uber frustrated and really wanna get this truck tuned for winter work. As John said Id swap this out even if it was a refurbished but working compatible trinity unit. Going on two weeks and no dice for me. Patience is a virtue but with a bunch of other branded tuners beginning to hit market gets more.difficult after other items work for our application

Be patient people. As stated above this is still the Holiday vacation season.

Most everyone should be back to work by 1/3/2012.

Fixes soon after that.

Can't get email confirmation code and I guess no update for it? Whole lot of issues going on here.

Thanks for taking the time Jon. I look forward to the update for TCM support but if it has to wait so issues can be resolved than so be it. Lived without it before the Intune was released. So as long a progress continues soon we all will have some fun with our vehicles. I've been on both sides of this and it can be frustrating. Keep us posted. Happy Tuning.
