2009 Silverado TCM wont program WTF

So i sent Mike at diablosport my factory PCM and TCM settings off the trinity so he could send me back a TCM tune that will program to my truck for my 6speed transmission. So saved the crom file he sent me which is revision v.1r08hl and i have followed the directions with hitting update tool and then selecting that file to program. Still cant get the Trinity to say that it has the revision on it for my truck its still saying v.1r08h. Whats the deal here. They said i might need to send it back but its brand new and i just sent the intune back because it had bad 31 pin connector.

after you use the dsdownloader program to UPDATE TOOL and select the crom revision update file to install to the trinity, you then have to select your vehicle year, make, model, engine on the trinity so that the update gets applied....

So finally got the crom file to load onto the trinity and just put the tune on my truck. Guess what it still says PCM MPG Booster and TCM original backup. Whats the next step here. I dont know if this helps at all but i dont have the typical transmission in the truck it came from the factory with a 6l80e i believe which is the 14bolt rear end. Not sure if that helps at all. Lastly the way i got the crom file to finally upload was i went into the trinity and uploaded the orginial trinity_1r08.crom file and it let me then save the update that Mike had sent me which is the trinity_gm_can_gas-1t08hl_update.crom. I originally had this file on the trinity trinity_gm_can_gas-1r08h_update.crom but when i tried to upload Mikes update it would replace it. Is this typical for it to be such a pain in the butt to program like this.

Sorry also i forgot when i was programming it this time it said reading TCM and it didnt do that before with this crom file trinity_gm_can_gas-1r08h_update.crom

sooo, what revision update file are you using now??? 1r08h, or 1r08hl ?

I was sent one called 1t08hl

sorry thought it said v.1r08hl but checked the file name again last night and it says 1t08hl
