questions before installing 7137

Post by Daytona1445 »

1. Is there any way to know before hand which PCM's may need an upgrade or downgrade before installing? Certain model years, calibrations that may be listed on the pcm it self anything?
I don't want to have to go through the trouble (if possible) of resetting my pcm back to stock from my other tuner just to find out about the up/down grade only to not install it and put my old tuner back on since I will not up or down grade just to use this tuner.

2. What is the best way to adjust tire size and not have a possible problem with the ABS as some have seen in the past.

3. Any possible issues with Sentry Key, EVS II, or remote start?

1. No.

2. There are no ABS related issues to be worried about these days.

3. aftermarket remote starts can be an issue, but if its stock, its fine.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I found another about the Trinity that has PCM codes listed in it. As it turns out mine is one that will need to be updated.

Sentry key, EVS II, and remote start are all mopar installed at the dealer before I picked up the truck.
Very glad to hear about the ABS thing, that had me a little worried.
