Newbie here. Just purchased a Trinity for my '07 GGC SRT8. The Jeep was slightly modified but not sure if a prior tune was installed (Jeep dealer had no clue) Is there anyway to check prior to hooking up the tuner? Is it possible to reset to factory settings? Any precautions/proceedure help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Chris

Thank you Diablosport for taking the time to walk me through the recalibration so I could install the Trinity and new tune. Easy process and saved me about $150 the dealer was going to chage to reflash. Great cusomer service!

Re: Previously installed tune/Restoring factory tune
Sorry to thread jack but i have the same truck with the same problem, and some new questions.
I bought my Jeep used and modified, heads, cam, exhaust and other supporting mods. I just got my new Trinity tonight and as I expected it says its already tuned with a Trinity. I understand I can call support and they can do their magic to restore the factory tune.
My questions are. Will it save the existing tune as the original? If not, Im not sure the Jeep will run very well without the custom tune due to the cam. What are my options in that case? I bought the Trinity to data log and get my own custom tune so Im expecting a new tune anyway, just worried about it not running very well to even do the data logging.

Re: Previously installed tune/Restoring factory tune
once we set the vehicle back to stock, you'll need a new tune.
if you dont have an appointment to get on a dyno anytime soon, id suggest not messing with the currently installed tune for now...
