Hi guys. Quick question.
How do I know if my Trinity has been updated to the latest CROM 100% for sure?
I click "Options" and "Show Information" and it says Part: gm_j1850 and Version: v.1r08d
I just updated to your CROM file r08ib this morning but that's still what the Trinity tells me.
Thanks.

Anytime you update the trinity to a different crom file you need to go back and reselect you vehicle type and after that it should show that your using the lastest crom update.

NO, I've done that, and as above, it still states:
"Part: gm_j1850 and Version: v.1r08d" even though I updated with your CROM file r08ib.
Can anyone please advise?
Thanks.

gm_j1850 is correct for your older 2006 truck... that is the file that is loaded for your truck, so yes, it's correct...

1r08i won't load/show in that screen because that file is not an update for your truck, it's for newer vehicles....

so when you select your truck in the vehicle select screen, it loads the revision gm_j1850 - which is the last/latest one for your truck, so you're fine and good to go...

So, Mike any word on those updates that have the new shift pressure tweaks in them?

Well I installed the 1t08jb and I have to say I was actually surprised. I did notice a difference. It shifted more like my diablew tuned 04 silvy with the 4L60e where it lunges you forward more during the shift . Keep up the good work. It was better but Im sure theres more to squeeze out of it so I look forward to future updates. Thanks, Mike

Do those new shift pressure tweaks apply to the 4 speeds also or just the 6 speeds?
