Intune PCM calibration not supported message

Post by chris427 »

I've just recieved my new inTune from Demon Performance today here in the UK. I plugged it in to the pc, done any updates and then went to tune my jeep. Plugged it in, follwed the screen requests and it keeps saying PCM calibration for .......................... my car id currently not supported. Unplug and connect to pc. So i did that and nothing happens! I can't tune my car and i'm fed up with messing about with ao called easy tuning tool . How do i calibrate the PCM????

sounds like it's saying you need to update the pcm to a different calibration, is that what it's saying? does it tell you to go to http://www.diablosport.com/dcx ?? if so, go there and read the instructions....

No, It's telling me my PCM is not currently supported for calibration. I plug it into the pc for updates but it's all up to date and nothing instals. Looked at the support page already. There isn't a link to Intune, only Predator and Trinity.

MikeL has always seemed to take care of people having the problem you're having. From what I have been reading it could be that your calid isn't in Diablo's system yet or what the dealer installed into the PCM is out of date. It's the weekend so I would be patient over the weekend and someone from Diablo will definately help you out.

Did it save a copy of the stocktune?
Plug it in the pc and see if there is a tune file sitting in the intune/tunes folder.

If so, email it to us or post it here.

Thanks

No i've not be able to save the stock tune as it will not read the ECU on the car. I can get to tune/write and that's it. I read for error codes which came up with none found so think that worked?

I was told that the 06 WH engined international model Jeeps should have had a shift correction update for 1st-2nd shift in manual stick mode. Just took mine for a 1st gear WOT and it hits the limiter and shuts the fuel off and shows "upshift" on the lcd read out, then i have to shift it in to 2nd myself which seemed to take ages! To make sure it wasn't shifting I had to try this a few times on a quiet road

Intune is all sorted, 93 tune installed until my CAI and Works stainless arrive Seems to pull a lot better from low revs and seamless power now all the way through, exhaust note seems deeper too?? happy days. Thanks Tech guys for sorting it out for me in quick time :D :D
