P E mike?

Post by kcstone529 »

since your not going off the o2s and the U7198 doesnt have the AFR, how do those of us with the U7198 adjust the PE where it needs to be? would we go off the MAF, if not what do we use?

This is Lew... ;)

since you don't have AFR on your Predators, then you don't really have to worry about the PE fueling... here's why...

if you get your normal driving/cruising average LTFT's dialed in to the correct range of 0 to -2 by adjusting the injector slope, then just leave your PE settings at 0.

This is what I've done to my Monte, and my AFR at WOT is 12.5 to 12.7... ;)

going by that old O2 rule of .88xx to .90xx made me pig rich - and like everyone says, they are not accurate anyway.

with my AFR at 12.5 to 12.7, I think the O2's are reading around .84 for my car...

so just get your LTFT's in range and leave the PE settings at 0 and you'll be all set and safe.
