2006 D/Max

Post by redsilvy »

I am currently running the S/Chips flashpaq on my Max and I am having trans shifting problems with no support from S/C. I was told the trans problem is happening with all tuners, is this true with the predator? I am going to change to a different tuner but I don't want to make the same mistake twice.

What trans problem is this? The only issue we have is that some people do not realize there is a learn period for the transmission when adding more power and during this learn process the shifting will be a little odd, after about a day or so it will go back to normal however.

I have been running the performance tune for several weeks now and the trans shifting has not gotten any better. I was told the same thing by the techs at S/C. I am not the only person having the problem with performance tunes, I have heard of people having this same issue using all different tuners.

We have hardly any complaints about the shifting on the duramax tunes, the only thing is the learn period which goes away.
Not sure what the other tuners do tuning wise but I know we do not have those issues as we have a few duramaxes in house with no issues.
