The Trinity can only get pids from either the PCM or TCM...and PCM wins

Hiya mikel. Still shopping for a tuner and am honing in on the Trinity. I have a stock 06 YukonXL 4x4 5.3L with a 4-speed auto tranny and am mostly interested in 'tuning' the tranny. I hate that I have to put it all the way to the floor to get it to downshift, and when it finally does it nearly snaps your neck. Please, a few quick questions:
1) Does the Trinity now adjust my specific transmission? (even if just beta/test stage)
2) Can it fix the problem I describe (ie. shift down sooner with less throttle input)?
3) In general, as I'm a newbie, can you describe what all is adjustable and what the effects of the Trinity can do to my transmission driving style without all the lingo? I'm not really concerned about shift "firmness", more that it reacts at the proper times as described above. I recently drove a 2011 seirra with the same engine but 6-sp tranny and the difference was incredible. I know the Trinity can't make my tranny have 2 more gears, but...
Thank you!

Oh! One last dumb question. Someone once told me that using a "tuner" (no brand mentioned) disables the use of any aftermarket remote start installed... is that true? As above vehicle is a stock 06 YukonXL 4x4 5.3L with 4-speed auto and a Canadian Tire Remote Starter installed (OBD port is not used and is available)?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thank you for the reply mikel. Could you please reply to my previous post, at least the first 2 questions below as I'm sure you're very busy? THX.mikel wrote:remote start works fine on our GM tuners 2010 Sierra and my bosses 2011 CTS-V....?

1. yes.
2. that may be something that requires a custom tune, at least until we look into more part throttle adjustments.
They are just not as simple to put in the handheld as the older gm cars...
