The future of the U7193...

Okay... there has to be a future for this device.... Other devices (like the U7194 for example) have user upgradeable software, data logging, and PC interface.

Is the physical hardware of the 7193 capable of doing these things, and the software is just not designed for it, or is it a dead-end product?

I wouldn't mind sending my programmer in to be updated to do these things, or even paying $200 or so to upgrade to a programmer than can do these things.

If it matters, my vehicle is a `04 Silverado 1500 5.3L/4L60E (Non-Flex). My Predator is a U7193, HW 1.01, BIOS 6.01, SW 2.04.

We are in the process right now of developing an update for these tools which will allow them to log, and be internet updateable.
As I get more details, i will make them available.

Interesting. I just purchased a brand new U7193 from an authorized Diablo dealer in my area, and the software revision is 2.10.

The current software revision on Diablo's website is 2.07 - you can see that <HERE> (scroll to the bottom of the page).

Does the info on Diablo's site need to be updated?

Yes, 2.10 is the latest, so we do need to update that page.
