HEMI trans is mush
HEMI trans is mush
I notice my trans doesn't shift as firm as it used to. I am running the "CAI Tune". Is that a stock tune that accomodates the CAI? I reset my trans adaptives quite frequently, but it is definitely not firm on the diablo tunes. It does seem much firmer on the stock tune for what ever reason. Any thoughts or similar experiences? Thanks.

I installed a Paramount Performance stage II valve body into my transmission. The more agressively driven, the harder and faster the shifting. You might consider that.

I am a former Predator owner and now a Trinity owner. I just stopped by this forum to see what people are saying about the Intune. Must say I've never heard of softer shifts with a Diablo tune vs a stock tune. My experience has always been the opposite with a Diablo Tune and have been under the impression that the tunes were the same in all their tuners. In fact, one of my favorite things about the Diablo tunes is the great crisp, firm shifting vs the stock tune.
No doubt that an upgraded valve body will make a difference, but sounds to me like something funny is going on here. If it were me, knowing that Diablo tunes almost always improve shift firmness right out of the box, I would call Diablo and talk directly with them. I've heard people say they have to wait for someone to answer at Diablo, but I've never had to wait long. I've called maybe 3 times and never had to wait very long to talk to someone.
Keep posting up also. Try not to become frustrated. These tools are a learning curve for most of us since it's all computer stuff, but they are great tuners and definitely worth going through the curve. I've been running a Diablo tune for about 20 months now and can barely stand to drive my car without a tune in it.
Just trying to help.Good luck
