Is this something that you're pursuing? I'm getting asked almost daily on multiple forums of my opinion of the Intune and if its worth switching to. I can't in my right mind suggest a product that has soo many issues to date. Seems as though I'm not the only one with the 5th gear issue as well. A person with stock size tires on Jeepforum is running 2200+ rpm at 70mph on his '05 GC. Mine runs 2000 at 70 and then drops to 1800+ at 75mph. Something isn't adding up here. Even with the tire size difference accounted for that's off.mikel wrote:Im going to need to find a vehicle to try to reproduce the issue...
Also now that my 30 day money back guarantee has passed and I've invested over $500 into this Tuner and a CMR tune can you just swap me out for either A: another Intune to test with or a Predator with some money back? I need this issue resolved asap please.

If there is a trend with certain calibrations, it will be easy to see.

My Colorado is bone stock w/5.3l V8, 4l60e tranny, 235/75X16 tires, and a 3.42 rear end. The stock converter locks up at about 1600 rpm and about 60 mph at minimum throttle. If you have a stock converter you must have an awful tall rear end and/or very large tires. What is the rpm at 80? The point of lockup is very noticeable on my truck. It almost feels like it's shifting to a higher gear. If you are running tall gears (3.08 or 2.73) and or large diameter tires, You may need a converter with a lower lockup speed to compensate. It's been quite a while since I messed with after market tranny stuff but the older torque converters depended strictly on mechanical reaction. Minimum throttle locked up at a rather lo0w rpm and lockup under acceleration depended on how much throttle you were using. I don't really know if this would be part of your problem but it would be worth looking in to.

Nothing to do with it. Stock settings as well as tunes loaded w/the Superchips Flashpaq I had prior and it would lock in 5th gear at 50mph..rlkimmel wrote:Is this something that you're pursuing?
