Factory Tune

Post by LoneStarChevy1500 »

I bought the Intune, updated it when i got it. I then installed the 87 octane tune in my 2011 Chevy silverado. Everything was good then i decided i wanted to turn the DOD/AFM off so i hooked it up and it froze...I was able to get a RMA and sent it back in. I just got it back and now my factory tune is missing and i am still running my truck on the 87 octane tune. I need to get service done soon so i need to turn it back to factory settings before i get it serviced. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did anyone at diablo tell you to restore your factory tune back to the car? If they did not that's very surprising to me. You should call tech support ask to speak to Vas or Mikel. There is a force factory tune feature i think they can do for you and get you back to your factory tune :D

The tool now says it is not married to your truck?

Does restore factory tune come up as an option on the screen when you attempt tp tune the truck? What happens when you plug it in?

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about having it serviced, just make sure they don't flash the truck with any so called updates while it's there.
