Updated to r18 2 days ago. Yesterday took for a test drive, maybe 5 miles, seemed to work fine, felt strong!
Today i went out for some spirited driving and it was really tearin ass. Couple things i noticed though. No 5th in autostick, also lost autostick function. I didn't mess with any of the autostick functions in the pred cause of mine being an '07. You can put it in 3 or 4 (any gear) at say 20mph and stomp the gas, it downshifts to 1st and goes thru the gears, no way to hold the gears or get into 5th. As i was switching between autostick and D thru this twisty road i stepped on the gas on a straight, no power car wouldn't go over 55; allso felt like it was stuck in 2nd (limp mode?) Came home cut the car off and restarted, wasn't in limp mode anymore and felt strong, just didn't have normal autostick.
Side note, i did have the ESP disabled via DS i didn't think to turn it off and retry it plus it was getting dark.
Any info on this. If anyone can email me r17 so i can resume normal autostick let me know!
Thanks,
Justin

RE: Issues with 8r18
Had you taken the car back to stock tune before updating to R18 or did you leave it as is.
Had you disabled autostick in R17? If so it can bleed through to updating with R18 if all parameters were not restored before update. This bleed through is the work around for guys who own and 07 SRT8 who have installed an early 06 TCM for the autostick disable funtion. This is needed to enable full manual autostick.
Has R18 been confirmed as loaded and shown on the front screen.
What tune are you running at the moment. What you have discribed is exactly what happens when you disable Autostick in R17. Maybe try resetting all parameters in R18.
If all else fails take your car back to stock, reload R17 and then do exactly what you did with R18 (tune load). Take note of any differences/similarities you feel.

No, i hadn't messed with autostick in 17. On my car if you disabled autostick it would just not do anything. When i had r16 i had this same exact problem with autostick without even messing with the autostick feature.
Has R18 been confirmed as loaded and shown on the front screen. Yes, at the top of the diablo when powering up says 8r18

Thanks for the help. You don't have 17 saved do you?
Thanks again,
Justin

RE: Re: RE: Issues with 8r18
Your car went into limp mode as a result of the ESP being disabled.
The twisty road caused the yaw sensors to go crazy, and it will go into limp mode with the ESP disabled.
We are generally recommending that you only disable ESP via the Predator for straight line use (dragstrip).
Thanks
