Lew or Mike, Help please

Post by Mike_Levy »

Need help. Just did this log. On the Trinity its showing the injector duty cycle, but not in the DV. I could have sworn I saw 122% and I want to see where and how. I'm just seeing pulsewidth on DV, and its maxing out at 22ms.

Anything jumping out at you as a problem (other then the maxed injectors)?

Oh yeah, the CTS-V dashboard needs fixing. It has rpm twice, but no mph and it has no KR logging.

Dumb question; This car has a dual pressure pump, right? Any way a tune can make it use the higher pressure? I'm assuming the ZR1 must use the higher pressure, since it uses the same stock injectors and comes with just a little less power then I have from the factory.

duty cycle is a synthesized pid, it is calculated in the trinity, but DV wont be able to display it.

I know there is a simple formula for it, lemme find it.

handy calculator, still not seeing the formula, but that will let you determine IDC anywhere.

Found it: rpm x IPW / 1200 = IDC

So 4790 x 21.5 /1200 = 85.82% which I could live with
5879 x 22.88 / 1200 = 112.09% which I can't

No idea where DV got 122% from.
