I have a new old Truck

Hi Everyone:
It has been about a year since I last visited the site. I traded off my 2006 Siverado for a 2007 Ford Mustang GT convertible last March. I named the Mustang "Sweetness"". I let the Predator go with the truck. I am not interested in modding the Mustang or installing a hot tune as I like it bone stock just fine. However, I have just purchased a big brother for the Mustang to keep it out of the winter weather and to keep the high miles off of it. The new old vehicle is a 2003 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE regular cab shortbox 4x4 with the 5.3L V8 and 3.73 differentials. I have named this beast "Darkness". Darkness has a little over 125,000 miles on him. He runs and looks very good. I am wondering if a vehicle as old as Darkness would benefit from the use of a Preditor tuner or if it could be harmful? I saved all the accessaries from the old Predator such as the power supply and the serial to usb adapter and I saved the programming I bought from Grumpy. I looked in the online store and I guess the U7193 would be the right model for my truck. I don't know if I want to part with over 300 clams for another programmer. Does the Diablo Store sell refurb units ? I look forward to and would appreciate any and all responses.

Thanks for compliment. I viewed that ebay listing yesterday, and, as you say, it doesn't say whether or not it has been unlocked. $100.00 is alot of money for a door stop! LOL

I quess that means you folks don't sell anything, but new units? No refurbs or open box items? Don't mind me, I'm just being an old tight wad. What are your thoughts about using a predator on an older truck such as mine?
