Mail order Custom tuners are starting to use a new programmer called efi live auto cal. The only down side is you don't make adjustments just load the tunes but there custom made to your vehicle. I wish i would of gone that route.

Jump ship, to where? I went the SuperChips Cortex route and it didn't impress me at all. Even with their TCM support the DiabloSport canned tunes blow it away. Sorry to say I got impatient and bought it, it now belongs to my brother because I have no use for it......Save your money and stay on board, there's really nowhere else to go for a handheld tuner.

What about SCT hand held tuners i hear they are TCM ready :D

EFI Live is not new. Custom tuners such as Black Bear Performance have been using EFI Live for a while now, it's nothing new to tuners.

The AutoCal is kind of new, been around about 2 years now. It does NOT come with any canned tunes and your ONLY option is a custom tune. You can't make adjustments on your own, you need to go through your custom tuner. All you can do is run a log to send information back to your custom tuner and have them make adjustments.

You still can go that route. You can get a custom tune done by LEW at a very reasonable price. When TCM support is released, have your custom tune adjusted for it.....
If you want an AutoCal with EFI Live, you can get one for $549.00 with up to 4 custom tunes included, run your logs and send them the info and they will do your tune.

Why not get a custom tune from a DS tuner such as Lew?

rthms20, we are coming up on 17 weeks of a couple of weeks...... Coming up on 4 months. MikeL says it's coming up on beta test after we see pre'07 support for GM vehicles. I deploy in 4 weeks, I pretty sure it might...... be availble when I return at the end of July.

rdss, don't get your hopes up. Would hate to see you even more disappointed when you return home in July and find out it will be a few more weeks.

This is getting of old. I have just come to the conclusion that we are not getting it for the inTune or it would have been released long ago.
We were lied to in the beginning and I have come to the realization that we are still being lied to.
Remember this : "all we have to do is port it over from the Trinity"? Well it's obvious that was a lie. Was it to sell the inTunes and get them out there to customers, who knows. Only DiabloSport knows the truth and we will never know the real story.

Now we are told that there will be several updates, that's why TCM support can't be released on it's own. That statement proves without a doubt that the port over deal, along with the few weeks after release in December of 2011 was a lie and they knew it from day one........If we don't get it, I will most likely have to get a custom tune from Black Bear Performance. From my research, I can't find one unhappy customer OR one time they lied to anybody. Would go with another canned tune unit but I tried the SuperChips route but it was a POS.

Still bad business practices by DiabloSport as a company. Been doing it for years and we are all dumb enough to stick with their products for some reason.
