2007 chevy silverado classic crew cab.

I just purchased the diablo tuner u7192 and when I go to performance tunes i only have "Factory HP tune or original back up", and i can not modify the factory HP tune. I just installed long tube headers and 3" off road y-pipe and was planning on getting a custom tune but i thought the tuner would come with other tunes. Anyways, how would i go about getting this fixed and if not did i waste my money?? I read a couple of fourms on here talking about these tuners (u7192) and they didnt have updates for them??? Not sure what that means. But if anyone could help me out would be great. Thanks.

your predator is on the latest/newest available update...

sounds like your truck may have an olllllld engine calibration ID which is not supported... I would suggest getting your dealer to update your trucks pcm to the latest GM calibrations, and then the predator should work just fine...

From your experience how much do you think that will cost ?

there's no set standard price for that, each dealer can charge whatever they want, heh... one dealer may charge $50, another one may charge $150... best thing to do would be to call around....

Ok thank you. My father-inlaw told me to come to you for a custom tune, he said you were the best, so when i get this figured out i will let you know. One more question....can you do a custom tune for heads and cam for an 04 GTO or does that have to be done on a dyno?

it depends on how wild/aggressive the cam is... if it's a mild, daily-driver street cam that doesn't cause driveability issues, shouldn't be a problem....

Well i found out today that my engine calibration ID was updated and it was the tuner.....diablo doesn't have a template for 07 classic flex fuel trucks. So they told me to return the tuner and wait for the update to come out.....and they said there is no ETA on the update. Looks like I'm going to return the tuner and head to the local shop to get a custom tune. Thanks for all the help 06MonteSS.

Yeah, there is one new cal for 07 classics that we need to make a new template for, PITA if you can imagine.

I have a 7192 in my flex fuel 07 classic should it not work?

your engine calibration ID is probably different than his, that's why yours is working...

Happened to me too.. Z code 07 Classic.. gave up on the calls and e-mails ..petered out to no reply after i bought the 7192 in 10/10... Atleast I could have understood an honest "NO" instead of holding my breath waiting for the program.. I just ate the cost.. wayyyy past 30 days . Should be a disclaimer on the supported 07 page!

i was just told at the begining of this week that there will be a fix for this but did not say when maybe with enough of us reporting the problem they will do something about it

Goin' to try stock program from dealer today. If this issue gets resolved, I'd buy a Trinity in a heartbeat. Comparing the avail big screen tuners DS seems to have 'em beat hands down. Really want those gauges instead of an A pillar setup

what does PITA mean and how long does it actually take to fix this programmer i have been trying to get mine fixed for over a year now can't you just put someone on it and get it fixed do you need another copy of the file come on fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!
