a quick question.....

i just have a quick question....... when i pull up my adjustable parameters, under speed limiter, there are two options....
with etc
without etc

i assume etc is electronic throttle control, but i am not sure..... i set it "with etc", and it worked to raise my speed limiter, but i was just curious if this was the correct choice to make. my throttle IS electronically controlled on my vehicle, "fly by wire".

now my old lady will want me even more! LOL!!!!!!!!

seriously though, i set it for 125, which is the max it will allow me, but it took me about a day and a half to get to that mark! i am really needing a different camshaft in my engine, it just doesnt pull like it should....plus the gears in the rear suck! oh well, something else to spend my money on.

I've seen good things from the LS6 cam in the 4.8/5.3 motors, they really wake up.

well, i was going to go that route, but the lift is a little higher on that cam than what i want <.550-.560> my friend has a cam he is GIVING me out of an 02 ss camaro...aftermarket grind .530 lift, 216/218 druation on a 116 lobe sep........i think it will be VERY well suited for my needs, and the price is PERFECT!!!! i will use the yellow LS6 springs though, and probably a set of titanium retainers......then the pacesetter LT headers with ORY and cat deletes....

that should do me in.....maybe i can keep my tranny together, and i think my predator will still be enough for me if i stop there......i dont want to have to get a new laptop....but wheatley tuning and nelson tuning are both outstanding options....

i like my little predator though.
