PCM Calid updated now speedometer not working right.

Post by Billyb.cpt »

Just as the title says, my speedometer is displaying the wrong speed, also my Intune updated Calid seems to be an older version than the original one that was in there before I got the Intune. The last letter in it is "N" and the previous one was "O". As far as I know in Chrysler vehicles when the PCM is updated, the last letter in the Calid is in alphabetical order. Is there any possible way to revert back to the Calid I had before I got the Intune? Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Nope no other changes at all. Could it be the wrong Calid or a corrupted one? Also what's the newest Calid version for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L?

The speedo is controled by the ccn or instrument cluster the only possibility is there is a hang up somewhere.

Please try this.,

Disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes see if it clears up. as we do not communicate with any modules on the car that control the speedo. or did you change tire size or something?

I didnt change the tire size or anything just updated the PCM as instructed by the Intune, I just tried as you said to disconnect the battery and it may have helped. Can you tell me if the Calid (56044555AN) the Intune updated my Jeep to is the right one even considering the previous one stock factory one was 56044555AO? Are all of the PCM files directly from Chrysler?

Thanks I do appreciate your help with all of this, I know this product is pratically brand new and still has a lot of issues to work out. But I'll try and be patient and make the most of my $400 investment! The Predator from what I've heard started out the same way but now hear its a solid product. Thanks again.
