Modify Stock Tune?

Post by Steeler326 »

Under Diablo tunes I have the options for Diablo 93, 91, 87 and at the bottom theres modify stock tune. What is that exactly? Im new to tuners and this is my first. Should i just set it to the other three whenever and not even bother with Modify stock tune?

Modify Stock Tune is exactly what it sounds like.. it lets you modify your stock tune - i.e. the original backup stock Dodge tune that came on your truck new. it is not a performance tune.. it just lets you make changes to your stock tune if you want to do that instead of using one of the performance tunes.

Question on the modify stock tune feature. Can I modify stuff under this and still have one of the other tunes installed like the 87?? Or does it just load what you modify? Also since your modifying stock tune, does that change your backup for original factory settings? And can I go into the modify stock settings just to look at what it offers without changing the current tune I have installed?
