still having the same damm problem
I first tried the down load during hunting season and lost my truck for a week. so between hunting, the holidays and working out of town I have waited untill today and good weather to give it a try again. I am right back in the same place with a dead truck. I drove the truck for about 45 miles, checked the battery voltage, connected a diagnostic tool and checked for problems. then follow the directions and removed the 3 fuses I was supposed to. plus one for hvac accessories with stopped a fan from running. Again the upload of the factory program was completed and the down load (87 octane) and or the reinstall of factory would only go to around 4-8% then through an error code. I now see others who are have the same problem after jumping thru the same hoops. I am not a happy camper at this piont and have to believe it a problem with the product compatability not the trucks.
