Hi guys,
I have a 2007 SRT8 Charger that I am going to dyno tune after a CAI, High flow cat/ cat back system, and was told by the dyno shop that its not too involved a tune, but they can definately squeeze a few hp out for me. They said they can use my Predator to create the custom tune. Now I hear on a Charger forum that if I revert the tune in the car back to stock, that my Predator will lose the dyno tune they put in. Is this true?

They can't custom tune with the Predator. Custom tuning requires the CMR software. If they're saying they can do it with the Predator, find a new tuner, because this one knows nothing. The Predator can only change WOT fuel and spark in rpm ranges, which is worthless as a custom tune.
To answer the other question, yes, you'll lose it if you go back to stock, because its not a real tune, its just basic adjustments. Real tunes can be saved to your computer.

Are you serious? Ok, next question then... ive been advised that since the Predator hold no ability to canned tune for a CAI, and exhaust, that it would help to get a custom dyno tune. I run a 93 CAI canned tune now from my Pred. The advice I got (off a forum) said that there are hp in the car that arent used yet, and a custom tune would find it.
I called the dyno shop to ask, told him what I have, and he told me that a full dyno tune wasnt necessary and with the mods I have it would be a waste of money. He said he could use my Pred and tune it for the mods way cheaper. Whats he talking about? Its a very reputable shop here in Edmonton Alberta Canada, and they tune for the local strip all the time.
Is there any power to be found in the car with these mods? Should I just opt for a cam, and then get a dyno tune? I guess if I do that I can sell my Predator because it cant hold a tune anyways?

The Predator can hold a tune. It can hold multiple CMR tunes. But once you return the car to stock they're deleted because the unit is reset. Its wise to always keep a copy of all the tunes, as well as your original backup and Last tune written, on your computer, in case something happens to the Predator.
I don't think you're gonna get much more power from a dyno tune with just an intake and exhaust. You can tweak it yourself to maximize the gains, but anything over that will be minimal. But if you tweak it, make sure you write down the settings, because again, thats not a true custom tune and it will be lost when you return the car to stock.

Ok, me again, hehe. Sorry for the questions.
I hear (again thru the forums) that you guys (Diablosport) do email tunes? I am slowly figuring out how this can happen, and I have gotten a bunch of replies from guys that say this would be worth it even with the mods I have. Whats the charge for an email tune? Does this cover the multiple data log files back and forth?

Diablosport doesn't do email tunes, but there are tuners that do. Hit up Johan www.diablotoona.com
