2012 Camaro SS

Post by greggash »

Hello;
I am tuning my 2012 Camaro
after installing the Diablo Performance tune, it was much faster, but with a ping under WOT...and generally noisy

Predator part number U7194
Predator revision 9r29
2012 Camaro SS LS3 M6

So I data logged and used the "DSLogRedux" program.
It said that I needed to go Negative 3 on the injector slope.

I installed the tune, this time modifying the injector slope by negative 3.
The main thing I notice, is the engine generally sounds better, and I do not notice a ping.
Just did a data log, this time with the car totally warm.
my fuel trims
LTFT bank 1 is 1.56%
LTFT bank 2 is -0.781%

DsLogRedux suggests that I modify the injector slope -1 to compensate

My question, why do you tink the two banks are so far off from each other?

Thanks in advance
Gregg

Because the injectors aren't flow matched. They're flowing different amounts, so some cylinders get more gas then others.

thats not too far off at all, if both sides are within 2% of each other, no worries.

Today I will set the injector slope one more degree negative

That will be a total of 4 negative.

From what I have read, this basically tells it that the injectors are smaller, and to
Spray more fuel.

So I guess I was running a bit lean when I started.

P.S. I have a CAI also, no other mods

Thanks in advance
