U7194 Owners Manual
U7194 Owners Manual
Good morning. I purchased your product in April/May for my 2007 Z06 and was told that a new owner/instruction manual was "being worked" that would provide data specific to the U7194 unit and the cars/trucks it supports. How's that coming along? Thanks, Dennis
RE: U7194 Owners Manual
I could use this as well. A bit more info on the OnStar disabling would be handy.
RE: U7194 Owners Manual
there should be a fuse in your fuse box labelled "OnStar"... pull that fuse and you're all set.

RE: U7194 Owners Manual
I have the new owners manual for the U7194. I was reading through it prior to installing my tune. NO WHERE in the manual does it say to take the Onstar fuses out like the previous models manuals do. I installed my tune (no problems) without pulling the Onstar fuses. The manual that is posted in the downloads section for the U7194 lists pulling the fuses, but the manual shipped with the unit says nothing about it.
I do understand that Onstar can try to contact the vehicle, but I talked to them and they said that they only contact the vehicle for the monthly email updates. My truck sends updates every 1st of the month.

BUMP, AGAIN I ask... thought for sure I'd come back to this forum to find an answer. Either a)no one knows the answer to my original question, b) no one wants to get involved or cares, or c) no one knows the answer to my original question.. Why does this thread always get off on fuse pulling and away from the subject/original question? It's NOT a hard question, really!!

Mike/Monte, sorry guys, I guess I must have been misinformed. I was under the impression that a NEW manual specific to the U7194 had been created by Diablo that would be specific to the 2006/7 Z06 NOT the manual for U7191 (which came with my unit). I had been told in the past that this was coming but apparently not so...
