2006 300C srt8 'service park assist' and eps light flashing

Post by rconwa »

I purchased my t1000 Friday. connected to my pc and installed 2.2.2.6 and updated the t1000 via usb. I connected it to my car and backed up the default tune. The 'service park assist' would display and the door chime would sound whenever I accessed a menu on the t1000. I loaded the 93 octane tune and upped my shift point. I followed the onscreen prompts and successfully wrote the new tune to the car. I did not drive it at that time. I drove it the next day and I noticed a big difference in the shift points and performance.
I tired to drive with the t1000 connected but the spedo wont register above 5 miles an hour, the 'service park assist' message flashes, the door chime goes off, the eps, brake and abs light flash every few seconds.
Any ideas?

I received the cable on Friday, Thanks again for the fast response. I have the same issue, unfortunately with the new cable.
Park assist error on the dash display, the park assist lights and chime sound, the brake light flashes every 30-40 seconds and the esp light stays on. Speedo will not register

Any other thoughts?

Mike, should I rma this trinity for a replacement? is it a hardware issue or is there a way to reset it to factory and reload the software again?
Frustrating I can't use the trinity for monitoring
Thanks

So this problem only affects '06 LX platforms? 'Cuz my trinity is slowly turning into a dash ornament now. As soon as I plug mine in, I hear chimes and vehicle (06 magnum rt) goes into limp mode.

I saw the trinity in another 06 srt8, that's what prompted me to get one. Of course he had a bunch of engine work done and the trinity was installed by the techs who built his motor for him with custom tunes

Expensive frustration to say the least. I'm going to be driving to Orlando this weekend and would love to get some stats on the long drive.

Have you seen this thread?
http://www.diablosport.com/index.php?na ... 008#215008

it has all the answers !!!

it is an issue with a specific wire on the OBDII port, I am looking into being able to offer a new cable with PIN13 popped out, or, you could modify your existing OBDII cable to remove PIN 13 for now....
