Can i us U7191 to diagnose any OBDII?

I have a u7191 and was wondering what i could diagnose with it. Does it have to be the cars that i can tune with it or any OBDII car? I have it for my 05 GTo and want to diagnose a 2005 Chevy 2500HD with the 6.0(yes i know it's a different 6.0).

May or may not work. The GTO uses the CAN protocol. The Silverado may use CAN or it may use VPW. If its CAN then you should be able to read the codes. VPW is hit or miss. My Actron can read both, but my CarCode only works on VPW and not CAN.

So i won't fry anything if i try to diagnose? It just may or may not work?

it will only work on other GM vehicles that have a CAN communication bus OBDII connection...
