Gonna need KBs tuner or have a CMR tune done. You can't tune it with a Predator.

Good Morning,
Like Mike said: The supercharger requires a new tune.
If you buy the supercharger directly from Kenne Bell, it will come with a new Predator with their tune loaded in it.
You can buy the supercharger through many authorized vendors, option for the "Predator Delete," and then you can get a custom tune (or get it dyno tuned) by them or someone else. The Predator Delete will save you about $150.
Understand though that the typical customer will not be able to tune the supercharger, by himself, with just the Predator. The tuner needs expensive CMR software to do the tune.
Also, be aware that if your customer has done any engine or exhaust modifications to the car (Throttle body, headers, etc) you cannot run the standard Kenne Bell tune that comes with the kit. He will need a custom tune.
Also please understand that the tune is critical. The car needs to be tuned by someone that really understands these cars. Otherwise, he's going to have engine damage in the not too distant future.

please dont take this the wrong way, but you do NOT want to learn how to tune chryslers on a forced induction car. It is a steep learning curve, and throwing a blower in the mox does not make it any easier.
Id suggest that you have the customer contact KB to ask for a copy of their tune to get the car going.
Thanks
