I must be going crazy

Post by jnkirk1974 »

Ok, I went to start pulling fuses and I cannot locate any fuses that say:

SEO IGN
RDO 1
RAP 2
TBC ACCY

Are the fuses on the '08 trucks labeled differently?

Also, I cannot locate the Onstar fuse(s). I checked the Chevy manual and the Onstar manual as well.

I can't tell if I have the correct instruction manual (maybe the big problem). It only covers vehicles up through 2005).

Sounds like I shouldn't even be messing with this if I cannot even locate proper fuses...........

You only need to pull the fuse for the Navigation system if you have one, no others are necessary to pull on the 07-08 NBS trucks.

Wow, are you sure? Just want to make sure that I understand correctly.....

Unless I have the navigation system (which I don't). No fuses need to be pulled....even if I have Onstar.

Correct?

If this is right (which it looks like you work for DiabloSport), I guess I'm ready to give it another shot.

Correct, the 07-08 trucks are not as sensitive as the old body style trucks.

Well crap, it's telling me that I have an "Unsupported Vehicle". I'm using the U7194. I guess this means I need to find someone with a PC to download the new update for the 08 trucks? My 08 Silverado has an "M" in the VIN number.

Here's some other helpful information:

My build number is v.8r07 (born 08/10/2007)

After reading several posts, it sounds like my particular truck isn't and won't be supported, since it has the "M" in the VIN #. Is this correct, even after the latest update?

yeah, Lew is right, we added the "M" motor in the r10 revision. Update your Predator to it and you should be good to go.
