u7135 Dataviewer error: mfc71.dll not found

Hi,

I installed the latest version of the Dataviewer on my laptop running Windows Vista. However, it failed to open and says:

"Dataviewer.exe - Unable To Locate Component

This application fail to start because mfc71.dll was not found.
Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

I tried to uninstall and install the program, but still no success. Btw, the DSdownloader works properly.

Any idea?

I googled and downloaded the dll file. Now it works

On Vista machines the installer does not install that DLL because Vista is *supposed* to already have it. Interesting, if this keeps popping up then I will have to re-enable that for Vista. Well done working around it.

This issue has been fixed in the latest version.
