hows come when i go to update software on the website and type mine in it just says the 1r08k still. so this update has been out and i just havent been able to see it?

basically the question is on the udate page why does it still say the old version like the update is not up yet. i found it in one of the forums here. when i was looking and waiting for the updates page to show the version update. hows come it never changed?
