1 tuner per vehicle type?

Is each device vehicle specific? i have 2 Fords, an 06 Mustang GT and an 06 F150, do i need to buy 2 tuners? or can i just download the programs for the mustang - install it, and then download for the f150 - install it all with the same predator and be a whole lot happier?

in short - yes, you would need to buy 2 different Predators. there are 2 different Predator models/part numbers for your vehicles.

U7151 is for the F150's, and U7140 is for the mustang gt.

But even if they were the same for both vehicles, you couldn't have tunes installed in both of them at the same time anyway. Once you install a tune on a vehicle, the Predator "marries"/locks itself to that vehicles VIN and will then only work on that one vehicle.

Like 06MonteSS said....you would need two different part numbers. Even if you had 2 Mustangs, the Predator could only tune 1 car at a time.
