New intune problem on 2009 RT Challenger calibration

Post by gulfoilngas »

I am getting a message when I try to Tune Vehicle that several people seem to be experiencing with the same and similar messages and some are getting the issue resolved but it is not clear how. I see emails being sent to people with the issue resolved but not posted so if anyone can help me that would be much appreciated. So here is what I am getting, and yes I updated the firmware even though I just got it today. It says:
"PCM Calibration for (My VIN DELETED) is currently Not Supported. Check for Calibration Update?"

If I choose the check mark to essentially say yes please check, it tells me to unplug it and plug it into a computer which I in turn did again sending me in a vicious cycle. I plugged it into my Mac and dragged the current file to update it and it updated as it should but I am still getting the same message.

How do I get the "Callibration" added for my vehicle because I would really like to keep and use this. I really hope this is a simple fix and not the issue related to what appears to be a pending update that I know could take weeks or months in reality.

Thanks to anyone that can assist, tech support or forum members.

this wont work on a MAC, you need the updater software to get the update.

Please post your info.xml file here, and I'll get you the calibration update file.

Thanks

Thanks Mike for the quick response. Sorry to ask a stupid question (this is all new to me) but is that file something I get from the files on the unit when it is plugged into the Mac or is it something I get when it is plugged into my car? Thanks again.

Sorry, yet again because for some reason when I try to open the file I uploaded it just shows me a webpage so I tried copying the file to my desktop first then uploading so I hope it works this time.

first, drag/drop the registration file to the intune drive, and this will register the tool.

Once it reboots, drag/drop the .drg file to the tool, this is the calibration update.
You'll see a message on the intune that it has been loaded, then go flash it to your car.

Thanks a million, I will go try it now. It seemed to update with no problem so hopefully it will recognize my car now.

Everything worked but for some reason it will not give me the CAI 93 tune. It lets me choose the CAI 91 but does not show the 93. I am running 93 in it as I always do.

I bring this thread back on topic from the last weird post I have seen many people say it is the Diablo tune but it does not say CAI and others say it is the tune that is just listed as CAI Tune but says nothing about 93.

I want to add that since 90% of the posts said to use the Diablo tune I did but I cannot find how to account for the CAI? Is the one called CAI tune actually a CAI Diablo or 93 tune? I'm so confused because I expected a CAI 93 tune.
