05 Ram with cam and headers going pig rich AFTER a WOT run

Post by ExtremeperformanceAZ »

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has seen or knows of a cure for this problem. I have a 05 Dodge Ram with a 5.7. It has a mild cam and long tube headers. It is running stock injectors. The truck starts and runs flawlessly. At the track or on the dyno, if you do a hard pull, the afr drops to 12.5 then you let off the gas and it will drop to 8.0 and stall, making it hard to start because of all the extra fuel. You can keep it running by keeping your foot on the throttle for about 20-30 seconds then the afr's will return to stoich and idle fine. It does this every time and I can't seem to see why. I have attached the file written to the truck and a data log.

Thanks!

I'm gonna have to suggest posting in the CMR section then. Most of us in the regular sections have no knowledge of CMR. I've messed with it briefly, but nowhere near enough to troubleshoot with it.
