Its been a while since I have put a tune in my truck. I would say at least 12 months.
What should I do?

Are you talking about the unit to the truck or are you talking about my truck, like the batteries and battery cable?mikel wrote:something is causing an interruption...bad ground, low voltage?

Truck operates fine, starts fine. My head unit for the stereo resets when there is low voltage. I replaced a battery about 4 weeks ago, stereo was resetting, but its been fine now.
Volt gauge on truck seems normal. Could it be my head unit powering up? It is a touch screen.
The reason I asked, is because stereos are 99% the reason behind this issue on the older GM trucksmikel wrote: aftermarket electronics?
Are you talking about unplugging the stereo at the harness? What about just shutting down the stereo so its not pulling a load while trying turn on?mikel wrote:ummm....danhercules wrote:Are you talking about the unit to the truck or are you talking about my truck, like the batteries and battery cable?mikel wrote:something is causing an interruption...bad ground, low voltage?

Not so much the stereo, as the harness used to plug it into the stock harness, remove that, and try again.
I was not sure what you meant by removing the harness. So I just unplugged the stereo harness and tried the tune. It worked. Then I plugged back in.mikel wrote:as mentioned, the harness is the issue, so it must be removed.
I am about 3/4 throttle now. Nice feeling that again. Its been 2 years. WHY DID I WAIT SOOOOO LONG???!?!?!?!!!! LOLmikel wrote:Glad we could help
