....still waiting.....HELP!!!

Over a week ago, I was told to "wait a day or 2 before trying to install a tune with my brand new intune because there was a "Bug" with the Mopars (5.7 Hemi). I'm at the point that if I can't use the tuner, then I'm going to have to send it back. I REALLY don't want to return it. I have been looking foward to installing the intune all winter and can't believe its still sitting in the box and I still can't get it installed. HELP!!!!

i updated it today(took like 30 minutes!) i was very skeptical after it kept loading , verifying, loading but it finally said it was updated and i put it in my jeep.

i loaded the 87 tune and set my tire size(i have 33's) , i tried to turn off the tpms but the dash light is still lit, im not sure if diablo has that figured out yet.
i only took it for about a 3 or 4 mile drive but there is a difference in power, i wouldnt say its huge, just seems to be alot smoother accellerating. i dont ever intend on putting super in my jeep but if the 87 tune is like this i would assume the 93 tune would be pretty good. im not sure of everything this tuner does either, seems like you can modify spark and fuel at different points, i thought you had to get a custom tune for that through diablo dealer?

ill update tomorrow when i get some more seat time .

Thats good news that the "fix" seems to have worked. I will be installing the 93 cai tune tomorrow. I will update as well...

So, I tried to install a tune today with my updated intune and it turns out the touch screen on my intune does not respond to my touch.(ironic, I know) Jon fron Tech support tried to walk me through a re-calibration....no good, it turns out that the unit is defective. He advises me to send it back to the retailer for a new unit. I called the seller and I am now waiting for an authorization from Diablosport to swap out the unit.(24-48 hrs.?) I will post updates as they happen. I really hope this gets resolved soon!!!

Sent the unit back today via Fedex......Let the waiting begin.........

This just in........Fedex showed up with a brand new intune at my door on Saturday. I can't believe how fast the new unit showed up! (remember, I just sent the old one back on Friday). I plugged the intune into the computer and I had to go through re-registering the unit, as well as downloading the new updates and drivers all over again. Anyway, after almost an hour the unit reads that it is "up to date" and ready to go. I checked out the touch screen and its responding as it should. All thats left is to plug it into the car and install a tune. Man, I sure hope this goes smooth. I have to admit, with all the bullshit going on with this thing, I'm REALLY NERVOUS about installing it and screwing up my car!!!......Well, here goes nuthin!!!....will post an update when I'm done.

It never ends......tried to upload a tune....intune reads "does recognize my car: vin not supported. Followed instructions to re-connect intune back to PC for yet anothe re-calibration. Is it just me, or was the intune rushed to release maybe a little too fast?...lets try this ONE MORE TIME.....IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Insatalled the 93 oct. CAI tune with 15% throttle boast....BIG IMPROVEMENT over stock. Much more balls, "snappier" shifts, quicker off the line, noticeable increase in TQ. All in all, in my opinion, definitely noticeable improvement. Was it worth $400.00?.... I think so. Was it worth all the bullshit with all the problems I had with the unit? Maybe.
