VIN Database Error
So I have been running my InTune in my 2010 Ram 1500 Hemi for months without issue, always updated fine etc
I also have a 2008 Chrysler 300 C
I figured I would try it in my car...So uninstalled from my truck...Everything fine...
Plug it into my car, I need a calibration update says the InTune, as does Diablosport when I call upon them..
So I plug it into my computer...Everything updates fine...Unplug it and back to my car I go...
Plug it in, now it say VIN database error
So, I say the heck with this for now...I figure I will just reinstall in my truck until the car thing is figured out, THINK AGAIN..
It will not even work on my truck now...Comes up same as it does in my car....VIN database error?...
PLEASE HELP!...
It does not even automatically bring anything up when I plug it into the computer now, will not scan for updates or anything...Does not open the main InTune window or anything???

RE: VIN Database Error
I somehow got by some of that above...But now it is back to stating I need a PCM calibration or whatever the original message was...But when I plug it into the computer the updater does not come up anymore...And it stated the last time it updated, jsut an hour or so ago that everything was up to date...And I did see where it downloaded calibration something or other that time as well...I am going back out to try it in my truck again to see what happens...But it appears I am back to square on for the car??

RE: VIN Database Error
the vin db error is when all the steps during the upload were not completed.
Please reconnect the tool to your computer and go to the computer or MY computer from the start menu and double click on the intune drive. IF there is a GET cdrom file there select it and allow it to do its thing . when it reboots go back to my computer or computer and double click on the diablosport Icon. this should allow you to get going. if your tool sees 2 updates it will require to to proceed to download the required FIles.
The registration process has been working for quite some time so i am not sure what issues you might be seeing on that part.

RE: VIN Database Error
There is no GET cdrom file
I already clicked on that the first time around and let it do its thing
I have updated the tool many times, I always leave it until its completed....
I am past the VIN error thing, I am back to square one o the car issue and the calibration thing
It says I still need this update, but it will not automatically update like it always has in the past for me
I have no tried it again in the truck yet to see if it will work as it always used too, as I would like to get the car thing fixed first...

RE: VIN Database Error
Everything seems to be working now
But i would not allow m to make any transmission changes to my car?
I assume that is not normal?
Or is it?
