problems

Post by stepsidez71 »

Is it possible there is something wrong with your truck? I saw on ctw forums that you have an edge now and are having the same problems. A lot of other people are running programmers to fix tire sizes and are not having problems. Could the shop have pinched or cut a wire for one of you ABS sensor when they put your lift on?

had the truck looked at and they say its fine. if the diablo shows wheel speed adn vehicel speed sensors on the real time data logging i may put it back on and get the difference in the two and get it fixed that way....I HOPE

I think there's a bad sensor somewhere. I'd remove the programming all together, and put stock tires on it and run it for a while to see if the lights go out. One of your wheel sensors has to be bad.

You've had issues both with Diablo AND Edge which leads me to believe the problem lies in the truck. I'd also consider taking it to another dealer for service.

Good luck

The Predator does read diagnostic codes. Take a look and see if there is a code being thrown out there. Might be able to find a problem yourself instead of trusting the stealership.

the lights stay off around town and short interstate drives. When i get up to around 65mph is when they come on now. They were coming on around 40 or even lower. i just keep trying more and more numbers.

My truck does the exact same thing. The crom update (8r10) did fix it for about 10 miles longer. Hope this issue gets fixed up. I've read that most ABS computers will only accept about a 3% change before they have issues.
