Loading more than one custom tune ON to the DSP

Post by theGOO34 »

I want to have two (2) tunes on my handheld dsp so I can load one up at the track with my racegas tune until I get meth. I have tried the advanced tuning tab on the ds downloader, where you put both tunes on there, and then save both of them under one file, then load that file onto the handheld, but it doesn't work. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I have the 3bar rescale tune that I have been tuning for my safe pumpgas tune, and want to pretty much copy the base 3bar tune and tune it for race gas. But like I said, everytime I tried the advanced tuning tab, and load that up, only one 3bar rescale tune shows up under custom tunes. Again, I want 2 tunes under the custom tune tab so I can easily load up a race gas tune at the track then load back up my normal pump gas tune and use that for DD'ing.

So if someone can break it down barney style for me, that would be awesome. I mean step by step because this was really making me pissed off.

If it matters, I have an SRT4...
Thank you!

then, to load both custom tunes into the trinity at once, you have to go to the Advanced Tuning tab in dsdownloader...

click the folder icon to the right of the text box, and select the first custom tune... then click the button Add Tune and it will ask you to select your original backup stock tune file - so select Browse for original backup, and find/select your stock original backup file... after you do that, it will add that first custom tune file to the list box below...

then you need to do the same thing for the second custom tune file.. . click the folder icon to the right of the text box, and select the second custom tune file you want to import... then click the button Add Tune and it may (or may not, because you selected it for the 1st tune already) ask you to select your original backup stock tune file - if it does ask again, select Browse for original backup, and find/select your stock original backup file... after you do that, it will add the second custom tune file to the list box below...... .

once both custom tune files are shown in the list box, then click the button up top that says Send to Tool and it will import both custom tunes into the trinity...

then when you connect to your vehicle and go to Custom Tunes, you will see both listed in there... select one, then select Install Tune, and away you go!
