MDS Question - 2009 Ram

I know most people hate MDS, but hear me out. I am in the market for a tuner and like the DS Predator because of the ability to custom tune. I have an 09 Ram Hemi with the EZD engine code. My MDS doesn't kick on as often as it does on the EZH engine code and I wish it would. Is this something that can be corrected with the DS Predator, would I need a custom tune?

I am only interested because I live in central Illinois and you can go 30-40 miles and not see one hill. I also travel alot of double-lane 55mph roads for work and think this might be where MDS would work well.

you can turn in off and on, but you wont be able to "tune" it to come one sooner or later
