I want to install the new 8r07 crom file to my predator. Do I have to load the original stock tune back into my car before I download the crom file to my predator. I think the last crom file I have is 8r05.

yes, restore your original backup to your car first, THEN update the predator...

i update the predator today but i feel that the car got a better jump but in the 4th gear the RPM become slow !
is the old tune better ? i need speed so please ur advise if the old tune gives more power ? i used to have the normal diablo tune and now the knew oct 91 ... by the way i still dont know what does oct reffer to ?

sorry i forgot to say that i have a c6 07 manual with vararam intake .. and could i open the RPM from 6600 to 7000 ?

"oct" refers to the gas you put in your car... 87 octane gas, 91 octane gas, 93 octane...

i need to know couple of things
1 can i push the limit of the RPM to 7000 in stead of 6600 ( RED LINE )?
2 if i want to switch from oct91 to diablo tune do i have to get back the original tune back then switch again to the diablo every time?
3 is there a diffrent between the diablo tune from the old ver. 8r04 and the new 8r07 for my corvette c6?

1/ yes
2/no need to go back to original tune when switching tunes.
3/ Yes the r07 and up are improved for better performance.

you can change the rev limit in drive, but I know on MINE, it won't make a difference if I still put it in D and drive.. .the car's computer will still shift where it wants.. but if you shift MANUALLY, or just put it in 3, it will go up to the new rev limit you set...

Do you have upgraded valvetrain in this car?
If not, 7000rpm is going to be met with some serious issues.....
