I have another question about the WOT shifting particularly when downshifting from 6th to 4th/3rd. At highway speeds downshifting from 6th to 5th is fine and driving around town the part throttle downshift is also good between all gears. It's just at WOT it seems like it revs up, slips a little (kind of like the stock shifting) then the rpms drop a tad, then it hits the lower gear. It doesn't feel like the shift is too hard, just not a quick transition bewteen gears. I have it set to the firm shift setting and the 87 Diablew tune. Can you take a look at this log I did and see what you think. I did a couple of WOT bursts at 1:20 and 5:55.

OK. I read back through some posts from when the TCM support first came out and found a where you revised the shifting multiple times. Is what I am describing above seem to be normal?

I played with the RPM shifting in the ECM part and it helped a little. Definetly shifts better from first to.second.

TCM not supported

Post by bulletpryor86 »

I don't think my TCM cal. id is supported, just updated to v.r09d, made some changes to the TCM but when uploaded to truck only the PCM was programmed the TCM reads original backup. Will someone look at this please?

I have the latest TCM tune on my '11 CTS-V Coupe, when it I force shift (sport mode) down to 1st it shifts with a aweful lurch and shudder. I have reloaded my stock tune , drove the car some then updated the trinity and tuned the TCM again....same condition. With the Oem tune there is no issues...any ideas ??

Do you guys intend to add more TCM functions like part throttle shift points mph or rpm? Lew pretty much has the PCM tune dialed, just trying to get the shift points dialed in now. It seems like there are way more aptions in the Predator, at least for the 4 speeds.
Just wondering if you guys have added anymore TCM parameters in the new CROM?
