08 6.4l diesal Fuel Temp.

I have been having issues with the 088 code wich is telling my my fuel pressure is too high. i have priced the replacement for the fuel pump and its looking like 3200 to replace. I have yet to take it to the dealer due to funds. But the other day i overheard someone talking about the fuel coolers going out and causing the same problem. Looking on my preditor at the fuel temp it reading 124 F . is that too high or should it be runing that high. the truck always throws the codes during the summer time and never in the winter. Please advise.

Id check on some of the diesel forums to gather that data, Im not sure myself.

i have, looked everywhere. I cant find anything on the fuel temp. plenty of info on the Exhaust gas temp.

Can someone please hook their Preditor up to their 6.4l and check the gas temp once the engine temp comes up. just so i have a reference. I know the fuel goes through a cooler but not sure if mine is working.
