On the 2011-13 5.0 Coyote, our preloaded tunes can improve power by 20 hp and 25 ft/lbs of torque with no other modifications necessary. As with all of our performance tunes, throttle response will be vastly improved (no more drive-by-wire lag!) and midrange power is increased.

I have a 2013 Mustang GT automatic and was wondering how the intune handles sport mode and full manual mode??

I'm looking for quicker shifts in manual mode and firm shifts at any rpm. My predator tuner for my old 2005 GT only had firm shifts at high rpm.

Also do the cai tunes work on 91 octane?

Asking this for a friend at work ;
He has a 2012 BOSS 302 and is looking into getting a tuner. He has the "track key" mode activated on is car (btw it's bad ass), will the inTune tunes work with that track mode or is the car already tuned out with the track key activated because it runs on totally different parameters?

track key is a totally separate area of the PCM that we dont read or write, so the track key will be unaffected by the tunes.

FWIW, a properly tuned boss will run better on the good tune than the track key most likely

thats not just a tune, that a CAI+ tune package.

Our CAI tunes saw big gains as well, 44rwhp is a bit optimistic IMO, but there are some large gains below the peaks.

You can see inthe attached dyno chart, the gains from our tune, vs our tune + CAI on a 2011 5.0.

If you look at about 4400 rpm, you'll see some really large gains on the order of 40 rwhp
