Drag/Drop Update Problems

Post by NGreen »

Trying to drag/drop update my inTune and I've run into issues. I grouped all the updates into one drag/drop like suggested by Jon, dropped them all onto the inTune drive, they all copied successfully and the tool has gone through a few restarts and one update without any firmware update. The current application I'm running is 1r02a and I'm trying to update with my product registration and 1r02b.

My question is...what am I doing wrong? How do I tell that the tuner has been updated and ready to go? Does the firmware info page update after the update files have been dropped in the drive?

Thanks.

Ok, I went back and deleted all the files that I had tried to update with. I redownloaded them, deleted them from the inTune drive, and am in the process of updating one file at a time. So far it is working fine one file at a time.

Got all the files uploaded and am having new issues. On the tool firmware page I'm getting a bunch of asterisk's and a few Ok's on the Db's. I went ahead and tried to upload a tune to my Jeep and I got a PCM Calibration error saying my PCM is not supported. I double checked that my year/model is supported and it is. What could be up?

the asteriks/OK are nothing to worry about.

Sounds liek the tool is asking you to check for a calibration update by plugging into a PC...
