08 corvette 6.2 VIN database error meesage

I have my INTune plugged into the car. It powered up as it should have. I choose Tune Vehicle. It then asked me to turn vehicle to on position without starting car. Pushed the ACC for about 5 seconds and the vehicle did this. The INTune then says VIN database error. It then goes back to the main startup screen.
