Issue When Selecting InTune.exe - Run / Win 7

Post by asphaltgambler »

So I am running Win 7 on my laptop. When I connect my new InTune and let the device boot and prompt it will not autorun even though those settings are enabled. No biggie.......so...........

I then choose open files from InTune 'E' Drive. I see the executable = Intune.exe - per directions I right click and choose Run as Administrator.
I select that and choose YES when that program wants to take control (window)

Then an error message box pops up and says to Connect InTune First!

If I unplug the tuner USB and re-plug - the whole process starts over and always ends there

Help - I want to finish installing the InTune client

please drag/drop this file to the intune drive, then when it reboots, let the intune.exe run and it will auto update.

So I have done this and the unit appears to be updated. I have previously installed the CAI(93 Octane) tune in my 2007 Jeep SRT8 and modified the cooling fan settings. Is there now an updated CAI tune for my vehicle? Thanks

I just received my InTune and I am seeing this same issue. My PC is running Win7 x64. The above link is no longer valid. Can you please repost this fix if it is still viable.

Thank you,

Thank you! That resolved the issue perfectly.

I do have to say that the last update (1r01i) took quite a while at the "preparing" stage (roughly 40min). I ended up doing some work on the motorcycle while it completed but just wanted to throw that out there for other to expect.

Thanks again for the quick support!
