03 lightning tryed to install newest crom file

tryed installing newest crom file and now nothing works please help. Im pretty sure new file doesnt work on my programer.

kyl, Which crom file were you trying to put onto your predator ? When you say nothing works. What is the error message that the predator is giving you ?

I tried loading the revision 11 on there i was at version 10, when i boot it up it say the kros os page and then just goes blank the screen after that never comes up and it wont allow me to install the old version. Was it bad that i tried to update the revision with the old revision still installed on my truck?

kyl, What does your predator say when it boots up ? "booting lightning" or "booting ford_gas" ?

it has that kros screen then booting lightning then once it reaches 100% it goes blank and the next screen never comes up

Try loading the R10 revision back onto the predator. Let me know how this works for you.

Try turning off the auto connect and using the legacy version. Found in the little heading of options at the top of the ds downloader. There will be three headings at the top of the page. file/options/help. Go into your device manager an manually set your com ports/baud rates. Then make the same settings at the top of the ds downloader. What cable are you using ? usb or serial ? Have you used this cable before ? If it is a usb cable are the drivers installed ?

I'm using a COM to USB cable, the programmer was working fine, i went to your website downloaded the ds downloader and the crom file connected it to my programmer and uploaded the crom file when it was finished the screen was blank so i power cycled the programer and it went to a blank screen. I couldn't get the program (ds downloader) to connect to the programmer again to install the old crom.

ok so the first i should try connecting to the programmer with the DS Downloader (legacy version) not the DS Downloader (production version)

You can use the 1.9.6.10 version but just turn auto connect off (unchecked) Put a check beside legacy connect. Is the predator giving you a "file missing or corrupt" message ?

no error message its just blank and the only way i ever try to connect is manual mode but i dont remember seeing a legacy check box so ill check when i get home
