The Trinity's come with version 1R08c. 1R09 is supposed to fix the issue. I am hoping the one I got today will turn on, and then I am going to update it immediately. I'll find out tomorrow.
I downloaded the drivers, then the Downloader program. Along-the-way it has you plug in the Trinity and it downloads the most recent update.
It downloaded and installed 1r09 and then it downloaded 1r09a. It downloads the most recent version for all the supported vehicles, so it takes awhile.
So far, the third time's a charm. I hope 1r09a permanently resolves this issue.
