No Torque Management options

I guess my predator has an old rev of code on it. I have been happy with the unit until I go to reading on another forum about TM. So I naturally went to my unit and no mention of Torque Managment. So I went to diablosport and am getting confilicting information.

My understanding is that there is supposed to be a place to adjust TM in three places on the predator. Mine does not have that. My Hardware and Software numbers are 1.03 and 1.13... I notice there is now an update on the website for something like
U7193 rev 2.07

So what should I do? does the new revision address TM? The manual (even the downloadable one makes no mention of TM.) If a new rev will remove TM, how does this compare to the 87 tune that I have and what is the cost?

Im guessing you have a 99 model year truck, which would mean you have a U7198. The old revision of 1.03 does not have the features you are looking for. The newest revision for that tool is 2.13 and does add 87 octane tunes as well as the ability to disable TM. The update is available for free to the original owner of the Predator as long as they can provide proof of purchase. If you are interested in the update, please call the office on Monday between 9-5 est to recieve an RMA# to send the tool in.

Sorry by my name it would make since that I have a 99. This is for my 2004 crew cab

There is an 87 octane but no Torque Management.

I don't think I have any proof of purchase. My wife got it for me as a gift. And we have moved since then. Seems as if EVERYTHING is no longer in the same place anymore.

Is there a real difference without the TM settings? Guess I should call and check on a price for an upgrade.
